We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news; Educationwise has been shortlisted as a national finalist for the Excellence in English and Maths Skills Development category at the FE Week and AELP Apprenticeship and Training Awards, in association with City & Guilds.
Being shortlisted is a huge honour and a recognition of the work our team puts into supporting learners every day. The judging panel highlighted the quality of our submission and the tangible impact our programmes have on learners’ skills, confidence, and career opportunities. It’s a reflection of the dedication of our tutors, staff, and partners who make this possible.
English and maths are more than just qualifications, they are essential tools that open doors. For learners in apprenticeships, strong literacy and numeracy skills build the foundation for success in the workplace, supporting everything from understanding instructions and reporting progress to communicating effectively with colleagues and customers. At Educationwise, we focus on providing learning that is practical, relevant, and tailored to the real-world needs of learners.
Our programmes are designed to boost confidence as much as competence. We work closely with learners to identify where they feel less confident, provide structured support, and help them apply their skills in meaningful ways. This approach ensures that when they step into their careers, they’re ready not just to pass exams, but to thrive in their roles.
Being shortlisted alongside other organisations leading the way in skills development is incredibly motivating. It reminds us why we do what we do and reinforces our commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences that make a real difference. This recognition also highlights the importance of investing in English and maths education, ensuring that learners are equipped with the skills employers value most.
We’re proud of this achievement, but we know that the real reward is seeing learners grow, succeed, and reach their potential. As we look ahead to the awards ceremony in March 2026, we’re excited to continue supporting learners, employers, and training providers across the UK with the tools, guidance, and expertise they need to succeed.
Educationwise remains committed to raising standards, improving outcomes, and giving learners the confidence and skills to take the next step in their careers. Being shortlisted for this award is a milestone that celebrates the collective effort of our team and our partners—and the bright futures of the learners we serve.
