Course Summary

The NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training is a comprehensive qualification for those looking to advance within the fitness industry as certified personal trainers. Building on existing knowledge of gym instruction, the programme explores exercise science, client communication and business understanding in greater depth.

Learners will cover advanced topics including anatomy and physiology, nutrition strategies and client assessment techniques. The course places a strong emphasis on designing tailored exercise programmes, conducting in-depth client consultations and understanding the legal and professional responsibilities involved in personal training.

In addition to practical skills, the qualification also provides insight into setting up and managing a personal training business. This prepares individuals to work independently or within a fitness facility while offering personalised training services to a wide range of clients.

This course is only available to those who have already achieved a Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing or an equivalent qualification.

Learner Journey

This flexible online programme allows learners to study at their own pace with dedicated tutor support throughout. The course is typically completed over six to twelve months, depending on individual availability and pace of study.

From the beginning, learners have access to an intuitive online learning platform filled with interactive resources including video tutorials, digital workbooks and quizzes.
