Educationwise Operations Lead Nominated for Quality Champion of the Year | QPA26

Award medal representing Jon Ford's nomination for Quality Champion of the Year at the Quality Professionals Awards for Further Education and Employability 2026

We are really proud to share that Jon Ford, Operations Lead at Educationwise, has been nominated for Quality Champion of the Year at the Quality Professionals Awards for Further Education and Employability 2026.

The QPA is one of the most respected awards in the further education and employability sector. It exists specifically to celebrate the work of quality and compliance professionals whose contribution to standards, consistency and excellence often goes unrecognised despite being fundamental to the success of the organisations they work within. A nomination at this level is a significant achievement and one that reflects the standard Jon holds himself to every single day.

Quality and compliance are not the most visible parts of a training provider. They sit behind the scenes, shaping the systems, processes and standards that determine the experience every learner and employer has when they work with an organisation. When it is done well, you do not always see it directly. What you see instead are the outcomes. Consistent pass rates, high learner satisfaction, a strong Ofsted rating and the kind of employer trust that takes years to build and minutes to lose.

At Educationwise, those outcomes do not happen by accident. They are the product of a team that takes quality seriously at every level and Jon is a significant part of why that culture exists and why it is maintained. His role as Operations Lead places him at the centre of how we deliver, how we improve and how we ensure that the standard of provision we offer reflects the Ofsted Outstanding rating we have earned and the award winning reputation we are building.

The Quality Professionals Awards for Further Education and Employability recognises individuals who go beyond the minimum requirements of their role and make quality a personal commitment rather than a professional obligation. That description fits Jon entirely. His nomination is not just a recognition of the work he does within Educationwise. It is a recognition of the kind of professional he is and the contribution that people in his position make to the further education sector as a whole.

We are incredibly proud of this nomination and proud of Jon for the standards he sets and maintains. Whatever the outcome at the awards ceremony, being recognised at this level is something the whole Educationwise team should feel good about.
