Opportunity Thursday: Celebrating the Range of Apprenticeships We Deliver

Opportunity Thursday of #NAW26 is a chance to reflect on what apprenticeships really offer. Not just qualifications, but meaningful opportunities for learners to build careers and for employers to develop talent in a way that is practical, sustainable and impactful.

At Educationwise, we are proud to be an Ofsted Outstanding rated provider, working closely with employers to deliver apprenticeships that meet real workforce needs. Much of our provision sits within the health, fitness and sport sector, where we support learners through programmes such as Community Activator Coach, Community Sport and Health Officer, Sports Coaching and Personal Training. These apprenticeships combine structured learning with hands-on experience, allowing learners to develop confidence, professionalism and skills that have lasting value.

Health and fitness is where many people first associate us, but the opportunities we offer go far beyond a single sector. Apprenticeships are about building transferable skills, and that is reflected in the breadth of programmes we deliver. Alongside our sport and fitness provision, we support apprenticeships across education, business and leadership roles. These include Playworker, Teaching Assistant, Specialist Teaching Assistant, Learning and Skills Teacher, Customer Service Specialist, Business Administrator, Recruiter, Team Leader, Operations Manager, Content Creator and Sales Executive.

Each of these programmes is designed to support learners into sustainable employment while helping employers build capable, motivated teams. Apprenticeships allow individuals to earn while they learn, apply knowledge directly in the workplace and progress with purpose. For many learners, they provide a route into a new career or an opportunity to develop skills without stepping away from employment.

With the right support, they can add real value to day-to-day operations while developing into long-term members of the workforce.
