This journey is supported by a blend of weekly online sessions and quarterly face-to-face visits, guided by a dedicated tutor. Learners will have access to online learning and support materials to assist with their weekly off-the-job training.

The programme includes classroom sessions, mentoring, off-site visits, and a structured 20% off-the-job training requirement. Learners must log evidence of learning activities that occur outside their regular work environment but contribute to their apprenticeship, with required hours discussed during enrolment.

At the Gateway stage, progress is reviewed to ensure readiness for the EPA, which takes place over a three-month period. The assessment includes a panel interview, a presentation with questions and answers, a practical observation, and portfolio assessment through professional discussion.
