Course Summary

Purpose

The Level 3 Team Leader / Supervisor apprenticeship develops the skills and knowledge needed to manage people and projects, deliver results and support organisational goals. It prepares learners for their first step into management while giving employers confident supervisors who can lead teams effectively.

The programme covers leadership, self-awareness, communication, operational management, project and financial management, and decision making. Learners gain the tools to manage people, lead change and make informed decisions that drive performance.

All apprentices are required to have a minimum of Level 2 in English and Maths.

If you already hold GCSEs at grade C/4 or higher in these subjects, you will not need to complete any additional qualifications. If you have not yet achieved these grades, you will be supported to work towards Functional Skills in English and/or Maths as part of your apprenticeship.

To be eligible for the End-Point Assessment, learners must have achieved their English and Mathematics qualifications and submitted a portfolio of evidence. The EPA takes place over a three-month period and includes a presentation with questions and a professional discussion underpinned by the learner’s portfolio. Those who complete the programme will achieve the Level 3 Team Leader or Supervisor apprenticeship standard, a nationally recognised qualification that supports progression into middle management roles.
