Learner Journey

Over a six-month programme, learners develop the advanced skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to work professionally as personal trainers. The course is delivered through a blend of weekly online sessions and quarterly face-to-face workshops, supported by a dedicated tutor who provides one-to-one guidance throughout. Learners also have access to a comprehensive library of online learning and support materials to aid their progress and support their off-the-job training.

The programme integrates theory and practice through structured classroom sessions, mentoring and hands-on learning experiences. At least 20% of the course is dedicated to off-the-job training, which includes self-directed study, webinars and applied learning outside of the learner’s usual working environment. All off-the-job training must be logged and evidenced, with clear expectations set during enrolment.
