Over a 12-month programme, learners develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required for the End-Point Assessment. This journey is supported by a blend of weekly online sessions and quarterly face-to-face visits, guided by a dedicated tutor. Learners will have access to online learning and support materials to assist with their weekly off-the-job training.
The programme includes classroom sessions, mentoring, off-site visits, and a structured 20% off-the-job training requirement. Learners must log evidence of learning activities that take place outside their regular work environment but contribute to their apprenticeship. The required training hours will be confirmed during enrolment.
At the Gateway stage, progress is reviewed to ensure readiness for the on-programme assessment. The End-Point Assessment takes place over a three-month period, during which learners will complete a workplace observation, submit a portfolio of evidence, and take part in a professional discussion to demonstrate their proficiency.
