Qualifications:

LEVEL 3 in Management

LEVEL 2 in Maths & English (This requirement only applies if the learner does not already hold these qualifications.)

What You Will Learn:

Sets, monitors, and manages objectives and performance which link to organisational outcomes

Manage resources to deliver tasks within budget and targets

Contributes to the training and ongoing development needs of the individual or the team

Collates and interprets data and shares outputs with stakeholders to support decision-making

Contributes to projects, initiatives, and their implementation to achieve organisational goals

Monitors and applies operational policies, relevant legislation, and regulation, and makes recommendations to ensure individual and team compliance

Identifies, assesses, and monitors potential risks, and supports the mitigation of risk within the organisation

Contributes to change and support others through change

Support the development and implementation of sustainable operational plans to achieve organisation goals

Lead and manage the team to ensure the application of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles

Collaborates and builds relationships with stakeholders to identify and support improvement opportunities

Communicates information to drive operational activities and improve organisational performance

Manage the team and resources to reduce carbon footprint and reduce business costs

How You Will Learn:

A mixture of weekly online visits and quarterly face-to-face visits. You will have a dedicated tutor who is there to guide you through your training programme. As well as your tutor, you will have access to learning and support materials online to support you with your allocated off-the-job training each week.

Learner Journey:

In a 14-month programme, learners gain skills, knowledge and behaviours for the End Point Assessment. It includes classroom sessions, mentoring, off-site visits and 20% off-the-job training. 

The gateway requirements for your EPA are:

Achieved English and Mathematics qualifications

You must submit a portfolio of evidence

End-Point Assessment (EPA) – 3-Month Period:

Presentation with questions

Professional discussion underpinned with portfolio of evidence

Off-The-Job Training:

You’ll need to log evidence of learning activities that occur outside of your regular work environment but contribute to your apprenticeship. The required hours will be discussed during enrolment.

IDEAL candidate

This standard is ideal for new employees, or for existing employees who are looking to retrain or upskill. There are no specific entry requirements for this role. Enrolment is at the discretion of the employer.

Employers benefit from Apprenticeships by cultivating a skilled and loyal workforce tailored to their business needs. Apprentices can be trained to meet specific job requirements, which can lead to increased productivity and a reduction in recruitment costs.

How are Apprenticeships funded? 

Apprenticeships in the UK are funded through the Apprenticeship Levy and non-levy funding. The Levy is a tax on employers with a pay bill over £3 million, which they can reclaim to fund Apprenticeship training. Non-levy employers, those with a smaller pay bill, receive government funding to cover 95% of the training costs. The remaining 5% they must put themselves.
